Shorland. Ernest Trevor Shorland, Westfield, Westbury; son of E.P. Shorland, born at Westbury, March 31st, 1872; educated at Marlborough College, and Guy;s Hospital; M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P.; Medical Officer to the Cottage Hospital, Westbury, and to several clubs; late House Surgeon at Guy’s Hospital, and Medical Officer to the 1st Batt. Imperial Yeomanry, in South Africa. Queen’s Medal and four clasps; served in the 1st Wilts V.R.C. for three years, as Officer Commanding G Company; holds hon. rank of Captain in the Army; member of the Wilts County Cricket Club, and played for the county for several years.
