Sunday 31st March 2013
If you’re one of the observant people in our community,
you may have noticed more rail traffic than usual,
and different trains than usual, on the line through
Warminster, between Westbury and Salisbury
this Easter 2013.
This is because a lot of rail traffic is being diverted
our way because of major extensive works to
Reading Railway Station, including two new
entrances, a new passenger bridge, 100 new
information boards, and the refurbishment
of the existing platforms. So, over Easter, you can
expect to see big freight trains and high speed trains
through Warminster and the Wylye Valley.

and Salisbury, approaching

the train continues over Middleton Bridge.
