(I) Open
Honorary President, Robin George, to open the Annual General Meeting of Warminster Highbury Youth Football Club, held at Warminster Town FC, 5th July 2023.

2022/2023
12 teams in the Mid Wilts League from U9-U16.
League players 198, Sunday morning players 87. Total 285.
Waiting list numbers at the end of the season 102.
2023/2024
12 teams in the Mid Wilts League from U8-U16.
Registered league players 191, Sunday morning players 67. Total 258. Players from the waiting list yet to be added.
Waiting list numbers currently 104.
England Football Accreditation complete, awarded Club – 2* rating.
Affiliation is complete. Potential to add 2 more teams. U9, U11 age groups have 1 team this season, enough players available to split into 2 teams.
We have introduced U8 into the Mid Wilts League for the first time.
Girls group has grown from 26 to 49 and are splitting into 3 age groups, potential for sponsorship of training wear, options to split to 3 sponsors.
Only 1 sponsor needed U14. Awaiting response.
Fixtures will be released on 15th August. Managers update FAN accounts before this.
League dates – 9th/10th September to 18th/19th May 24.
Mid Wilts spot checks – qualifications. Respect for Parents and Spectators policy and Squad lists.
Committee Members required; Facilities Manager is the key role to fill.
Managers to complete CPD – changes to league rules, referee payments, safeguarding updates and tablets provided to be provided.
Help in the Tea Hut on a Sunday morning is needed, Food Hygiene Course provided.
40th Anniversary this season, we intend to mark the occasion.

(VI) Welfare Officer’s report – Jason Mann.
Midway through 2023, I assumed the role of WHYFC Welfare Officer (WO). Before acting on any policy I successfully completed the mandated FA WO course. I plan to support the Mid Wilts FA and by extension the committee, in making safeguarding decisions using the current policies. Moreover, at the forefront of any decisions, the players will be the driving factor.
