Two new nurses joined the staff of the Avenue Surgery, Warminster, during the New Year.
Paul Jones, who has a previous background in community nursing, started at the Avenue Surgery on Tuesday 3rd January 2012. His role will be as an emergency nurse practitioner and he will become the new clinical team leader.
Matt Griffiths is joining the team part-time, as an emergency nurse practitioner, also from 3rd January 2012. Matt worked in a similar role previously.
Both Paul and Matt will be able to carry out home visits as directed by the partnership.
The Avenue Surgery has said farewell to Mrs. Maggie Dettmar, who left the surgery due to retirement in December 2011 after 21 years dedicated service to the Avenue Surgery. Maggie will be returning periodically for clinics at the surgery, so she will still be seen around the practice from time to time.
