North Row, Warminster

Extract from The Changing Face Of Warminster by Wilfred Middlebrook, published in 1971:

North Row is a narrow lane connecting the Avenue with Market Place. It is barely wide enough at the Market Place entrance for the passage of modern commercial vehicles, as testified by the heavy scoring in the stone buffers at either side. An old, unchanged part of Warminster, this, and within the limited confines of its walls was the birthplace of Nonconformity in Warminster, hence its real appellation of Meeting House Lane.
