Tilshead Fete 1967

From the Wylye Deanery Magazine, July 1967:

Tilshead and the Orchestons. The Fete. “It will be all right on the day.” It was at the Tilshead Fete but it was “a close run thing.” The weather was very unsettled right until the opening and then the sun shone. The result was a record – £117 after expenses were paid. It was good to have the support of the Orchestons. In two days from the time of writing it will be the Orchestons day and I hope the Tilshead people will turn up in force.
