The Victoria Hall was built in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Jubilee. In 1977, the year of Queen Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee, the old Fire Station which adjoined the Victoria Hall, was converted into the Elizabeth Hall.
