Tuesday 14 April 1992
At the 1992 AGM the Warminster branch of the Workers Educational Association (WEA) was formally wound up.
The Chairman, Mr. Alwyn Hardy, thanked members and officers for their support but regretted that lack of support and rising costs meant the branch could no longer continue.
The Warminster branch had been in operation since 1976, providing adult classes in a variety of subjects of local and general interest.
