The Topography Of Maiden Bradley

Writing in 1932, Victor Strode Manley, as part of his Regional Survey Of Warminster And District, wrote the following notes concerning Maiden Bradley:

The ground is high with the downs behind it, and northward it dips down in deep hollows towards Longleat, a part of Selwood Forest; the streams going in the same direction to join the Frome river in Somerset, whose boundary is close to the village.
