Giles and Cathy Dickinson, the licensees of The Boot Inn, at Berwick St. James, gained a silver award in the Food Pub of the Year category of a competition sponsored by Brake Bros. & Walter Rose Butchers. They were presented with their prize at the annual Wadworth Brewery awards ceremony. Awards are given to the best performing pubs in the 240 strong public house portfolio owned by Wadworth Brewery. Giles Dickinson and Cathy are both trained chefs, use local produce where possible, and are passionate about traditional British food.
