Great Memories Of The Fox & Hounds Football Club

Wednesday 20th November 2024

Mark Davies writes:

It’s been a hell of a journey, but one I’m pleased to have been involved with and managed (to some extent ).

To all Fox and Hounds FC players, past and present, thanks for some great memories. It’s been a blast and we go out as champions.

And never forgetting Justin Preece and Wayne Marchmont – two Fox legends I was proud to play alongside and call my friends.

Thanks to all at the Fox, especially Loma and Chris, for all their support for the team and matchdays. Best pub in town, by far.

Love you all, Massive xxx.

Free Women Self-Defence Seminar

Friday 15th November 2024

A message from Marc at the Wiltshire Grappling Association:

My name is Marc and I’m the head coach of Wiltshire Grappling Academy based here in Warminster and want to give something to the community.

I want to empower women and arm them with some self-defence to be able to feel confident during the winter months ahead.

I always equate it to learning to swim. We learn to make sure we can swim to safety. Why should self-defence be any different?

I am trying to gauge interest so please email me or message us on our social accounts for more information and be added to our waiting list for the upcoming event.

So, share this with your friends, sisters, mothers and daughters and come get involved in learning to protect yourselves.

Many thanks,
Marc, Head coach, WGA+CC.

Not Open On Saturdays During The Daytime

Tuesday 5th November 2024

An update from The Old Fire Station 1905, The Close, Warminster:

Just an update on our opening times.

We have taken the decision not to open Saturday daytime, at least over the winter. We are consistently busy in the evenings, but the Saturday days have been just ok or very quiet. Obviously since we came to this decision a week ago, we have had lots of enquiries! But, we are very content with evenings!

We continue to open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm and now Sunday lunch with Dean, 12 till 4.

As always, better to book in advance to avoid disappointment! Telephone (01985) 213170

Dave and the team.
