Very Attractive To Bumble Bees

Viper’s Bugloss (echium vulgare) growing adjacent the Southern Range Road (Battlesbury Spur Road), Boreham, Warminster.

The flowers start pink but turn blue – the pollen is blue – and the stamens are red. Very attractive to bumble bees.
