It seems that Roy Chappell has finally hung up his scissors and combs after many years of gents’ hairdressing. Roy, who lives in Westbury, ran his salon on the first floor of 31 George Street, Warminster, but took semi-retirement, working reduced hours, when his wife became ill. He returned to work following her death but there has been little activity at the salon recently. The salon is now to let and is advertised: “Long established 1st floor gentleman’s hairdressing shop to let. For further details please telephone 01985 216369.”
