Writing in 1931, Victor Strode Manley, as part of his Regional Survey Of Warminster And District, made the following notes about Manor Farm, Sherrington:
The Manor Farm House was also vacant [same as the Rectory] in 1931, and adjoins the Castle Mound, and has a fine thatched barn with semi-circular threshing floor in which a boy sat to drive the horses round.
Manley made a drawing of the threshing floor and barn at Manor Farm, Sherrington, in 1937, and included it in his Regional Survey Of Warminster And District.
