The Warminster & West Wilts Herald, Saturday 13th April 1889:
A dinner in connection with the South and West Wilts Hunt was held at the Town Hall [Warminster], on Wednesday evening. Lord Stalbridge presided, and there were about 100 gentlemen present. The dinner was provided by Mrs. Down of the Bath Arms hotel. The committee decided not to send the usual complimentary tickets to the press, and for that reason we do not give a report of the proceedings.
