Clothing label Klass which was established in 1985, opened a new store at the Wilton Shopping Village, Wilton, on Tuesday 9th February 2016. The Mayor of Wilton, Cllr. Phil Matthews, cut the ribbon in front of a large crowd of keen shoppers. Klass, which is a family-owned business, now has over 150 stores. Klass has its own design team and offers a stylish and sophisticated range of ladies’ fashion, sizes 10 to 22, at affordable prices.

Burglary At Chantry Road, Wilton

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a home in Wilton.

Between 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. on 8th May 2015, an unknown offender gained access to the porch of a home in Chantry Road, and stole three letters, including one which contained a £50 cheque.

The suspect is described as female, white, approximately 5 ft 8 inches tall, of slim build, with straight, shoulder length blonde hair. She was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a jacket and was carrying a large black or navy holdall.

Anyone with information should call local crime investigator George Moncrieff on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
