Warminster Town Council Seeks Feedback On Bicycle Parking Provision

Thursday 28th November 2024

Press release from Warminster Town Council:

Warminster Town Council Seeks Feedback On Bicycle Parking Provision

Warminster Town Council wants to hear from the local community on bicycle parking in the town centre.

The town council is keen to help encourage cycling around Warminster and the surrounding areas and has created a short survey. The feedback will be used to understand if there is enough demand to consider providing secure, covered storage for bicycles in the town.

A spokesperson said: “We’re currently seeking feedback from the local community on bicycle parking provision in Warminster. If you’re an avid cyclist or someone who might consider cycling into town if better facilities were available, we would like to hear from you. We’d really appreciate your feedback.”

We also stock all the gear you need to get out there on the roads: helmets, bottles, gels, the works.

Bicycle Stands In The Lake Pleasure Grounds (Town Park), Warminster

This photograph, taken in the Lake Pleasure Grounds (Town Park), off Weymouth Street, Warminster, by Danny Howell, during 1987, shows the bicycle stands which were situated alongside the flower border (seen here with climbing roses, dahlias, antirrhinums, and marigolds) outside the east wall of the open-air swimming bath (between the Park Keeper’s House and the Morgan Memorial Fountain).
