Hashtag Bad Hair Are Moving From Warminster To Frome

Friday 27th September 2025

Hashtag Bad Hair, at 7 Silver Street, Warminster, have announced that they are moving to Vallis Way, Frome.

Nate O’Neill of Hashtag Bad Hair writes:

Yes sadly it is true. Unfortunately our landlord hasn’t got things done that we’ve needed doing since we moved in nearly 4 years ago and that isn’t fair on our clients or our business. Due to the poor state of upstairs, we’ve never been able to use it for anything despite paying for it. As most people know, we put a lot of time effort and money into our salon and it’s been disappointing not to have been able to give all of our clients what we feel they deserve. We know that hair is a luxury and we have felt for a long time that the building should reflect this but sadly it does not. We choose to work closely with people with additional needs and support a lot of children, but this doesn’t bring in enough to repair things that our landlord has not. We have looked for other premises in Warminster but they haven’t been fit for our needs (also pricey!). We are joining forces with a wonderful team of neuro-spicy creatives who will be tattooing and have an alternative shop too so we will all be under the same roof, working together – and splitting bills coz we all know how expensive life is! We will only be in Frome, just down the road and having the relief of having a fully functional building in great condition is great so we can offer what our clients deserve without the anxiety of the building falling apart or trees growing through the upstairs windows. We will miss Warminster, but fortunately we’ll still be very close by and we can’t wait to show you all our new shop and venture. Nate, Pixie and the #Badhair Crew.

A message from Axl Stone at Our House hairdressing, 32 High Street, Warminster, and 22 King Street, Frome.

February 28th 2025 will mark the end of an incredible era, 5 years of Warminster and 2.5 years of Frome.

To every person who’s walked through our doors, thank you. You have trusted us and become part of our story. We have made some unforgettable memories, and because of the love, loyalty and support we have received since opening in 2020 we are able to move onto our next chapter.

A little bit of truth talk –
Running 2 businesses is hard work, no matter what may get projected onto socials it’s difficult. The power of “Our House’ are our incredible stylists! The dedication and passion these girls bring daily is wild, the way we are together is truly a sisterhood. We miss one another and it shows we are much stronger together. thank you my girls for making our house shine so bright.

So . . . I’m super excited to announce we will be back under one roof creating our magic together, bigger and better than ever before. We couldn’t be any more excited about this new journey we’re about to go on. Again, thank you for all of your support over the years and we can’t wait to see you in our new home.

Get ready for us, 01/03/2025
New location –
Our House Frome,

Thank you all.
Love, Axl.

A Bear With An Axe At Hashtag Bad Hair

Friday 13th December 2024

From artist Tanya Hinton:

As many of you will probably know Hashtag Bad Hair [at 7 Silver Street, Warminster] had their window smashed so I have tried to brighten it up! This painting is on the inside so as not to distract from their Christmas window art! I’m sure they won’t mind anyone going in and taking a peek though, it’s a very cool salon and worth a visit!

Damage To #Bad Hair At Silver Street, Warminster

Sunday 1st December 2024

From #badhair, 7 Silver Street, Warminster, BA12 8PS:

Unfortunately, last night some absolutely ********’s (whatever word you choose) decided to run rampant up Silver Street. Our window got a good kicking – they tried their hardest to break our glass but couldn’t bust through fortunately, however they have still done a lot of damage. We’re absolutely gutted. Sadly, we’re not the only small business to have had this done. @jamieblacklanterntattoo had his glass smashed, @thecoffeegarden_warminster had their whole front window smashed in and I believe another business did too. We’re lucky enough to be able to stay open safely, having the board on the inside to make sure no little hands get hurt but this is just such senseless shit that was unnecessary and so close to Christmas too.

There were a couple of locals who were very helpful when it happened last night, so thanks to them and thank you to The Coffee Garden for letting us know.

If anybody saw anything or has any information, please ping us a message – it’d be hugely appreciated,

Long-Established Barber’s Salon In Warminster To Let

Monday 10th February 2014

It seems that Roy Chappell has finally hung up his scissors and combs after many years of gents’ hairdressing. Roy, who lives in Westbury, ran his salon on the first floor of 31 George Street, Warminster, but took semi-retirement, working reduced hours, when his wife became ill. He returned to work following her death but there has been little activity at the salon recently. The salon is now to let and is advertised: “Long established 1st floor gentleman’s hairdressing shop to let. For further details please telephone 01985 216369.”
