We are very sad to say that our three year lease comes to an end in the middle of April and because of rising costs we will be closing the MS Centre charity shop [at Three Horseshoes Walk, Warminster]. Our heart felt thanks goes out to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped to make the shop a much loved community favourite, and to our loyal and valued customers, we will miss you all. The shop is no longer taking donations.

Barnardo’s Donation Centre In Warminster Seeking A Deputy Retail Manager

There still appears to be no date when the Barnardo’s Donation Centre adjacent Waitrose, at Station Road, Warminster, will be officially open for business, even though there appears to be some sorting activity going on inside and goods are being left by the public outside its doors, as these photographs taken by Danny Howell on Tuesday 17th December 2013 show:

However, Barnardo’s are currently advertising for a Deputy Retail Manager. Their job advertisement reads: “Deputy Retail Manager Required. 35 hours per week. Barnardo’s Donation Centre, Unit 2, Fairfield Road, Warminster, BA12 9BR. Assist the Branch Manager to generate maximum profit to support our childcare work, through the effective management of paid staff, volunteers and resources within a fixed budget and provide a quality customer focused service. In return you will work for one of the UK’s largest charity retailers with benefits including full training and development package, promotion prospects, pensions and benefits. Ref: IRC118171. at Station Road, Warminster.
