Steve Ware, proprietor of Steve’s Tackle,
the anglers’ accessories shop, George Street,
Warminster, has grown 120 pumpkins.

Steve is selling them, not at fixed prices
but for reasonable donations to
the Wiltshire Air Ambulance charity.

Steve has already sold 30 to just two buyers
~ a women’s institute at Bradford On Avon
and to the owner of a shop selling vintage
and secondhand items at Silver Street,
Warminster.

Steve said:
“Life is not all about me, me, me,
or greed, greed, greed. It’s good for us
to think what can we all do for
someone else, to help others.
That’s why I’m happy to raise
funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.”

Steve already has a good way of
fundraising ~ he accepts unwanted
fishing rods and tackle from his
angler customers and sells those items,
giving the proceeds to the
Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

A certificate in Steve’s Tackle shop
shows that last year he collected
£198.70 and has made a total
of £369.83 so far in 2016
for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
