Welcoming Representatives From Warminser, Pennsylvania, USA

𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐒𝐀 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩.

Warminster, Wiltshire will welcome representatives from Warminster, Pennsylvania (PA), USA, as part of the further twinning association celebrations in August.

A group from Warminster Township, PA will be welcomed with celebrations planned to commemorate a more than decade long relationship.

A full programme of events will include a golf competition at West Wilts Golf Club, an informal dinner at The Old Fire Station, a celebration party at the Prestbury Sports Bar and a trip to Imber as part of Imberbus from Friday 14th August to Saturday 15th August 2025.

Leo Quinn III, who was previously Chairperson for Warminster Board of Supervisors (the USA equivalent of Mayor) is looking forward to returning after visiting Warminster with a group in 2023.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to playing golf on such a beautiful course, and to see where my American colleagues trained for World War II. I am officially going to invite Warminster, UK residents to join us in Warminster, USA, to celebrate our July 4th party, it will be so much fun”.

Warminster Deputy Mayor, Jack Jones, will be combining a holiday in Nashville with a visit to Warminster PA, in 2026. Former Warminster town councillor, Nick Pitcher is also planning to visit after presenting the town shield to Warminster, PA, after corresponding with the Township’s Rotary Club in 2013.

Warminster, PA, is situated halfway between New York and Washington D.C. Both towns share common features, including a military base, a town park, a museum, a town council, and a shopping centre.
