Remarks: Concrete steps from the Park to the junction with WARM 47 then left along the narrow enclosed path to East Street. Consistently one of the worst paths in Warminster on this section with obstructions on the path, overgrown hedges and brambles.

Remarks: Starts on Victoria Road with a section of tarmac serving bungalows. It becomes a grass path, narrowed by a hedge for a while before meeting a new cycle path from Tascroft Estate. It then turns left between fenced houses and a hedge. Crosses an access road to houses and narrows up, beside the Play Area. Problems with overgrowth to be resolved. It joins Broxburn Road and follows pavements on a meandering route to Thornhill Road. Mown at least in part by Nigel Linge..

Remarks: North Lane pre-dates the 1783 Inclosure Award and varies from c.10 feet to c.20 feet as defined by the original banks. Mown at least in part by Nigel Linge.

Remarks: The remainder of WARM 8 is a string of awarded 20 feet wide private roads from the 1783 Award. North of the Bypass it borders Norridge Wood (Longleat). South of the Bypass it is mainly within the West Warminster Urban Extension (WWUE). Following its junction with WARM 9 it is neighboured by Warminster School sports pitches and long standing occupants of Coldharbour Lane. Persimmon Homes enclosed the section between WARM 12 & 13 and I [Nigel Linge] reminded them that it was their duty to maintain the RoW. Mown at least in part by Nigel Linge.

Remarks: A short section follows Cuckoo’s Nest Lane before running along pavements to the footbridge crossing the Were. It has been diverted onto a new line and laid to tarmac as a cycle track besides the Grovelands Way public open space. On leaving that field it follows an ancient track between hedges before turning right and eventually joining WARM 8 crossing across the West Warminster Urban Extension (WWUE) as a grass path with an established trod.

Remarks: From between Nos. 58 & 60 South Street to the Bypass turning left onto an earthen section then a tarmac section onto Bradley Road. Original local stone has been brought to the surface by recent water mains work. Mowed by Wiltshire Council while mowing Warminster Common.

Remarks: From Victoria Road to the Grovelands Way car park it runs along pavements. It was then diverted on to a grit path to the Northern Were. From there it crosses an open field before entering a narrow hedged section until reaching the tarmac WARM 8 (Coldharbour Lane).
