Warminster Police statement:
Two people have been arrested thanks to the assistance of Police Dog Bree and local officers.
We were called to Westleigh in Warminster at approximately 2am yesterday morning following reports that windows were being smashed at an address.
Officers and Police Dog Bree attended the scene.
PD Bree picked up a scent and tracked to an address where a man was arrested – the dog then continued to track to a second address where another man was arrested.
The men, both aged in their 30s, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. One of them was also arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated abuse towards a police officer and the other was arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle and theft from a vehicle.
Both men have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
