Vicarage Street, Warminster, To Be Closed On Tuesday 27th February 2018 (9.00 a.m. To 3.00 p.m.) For Resurfacing

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Urgent Closure of Vicarage Street (Part), Warminster.

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on Tuesday 27th February 2018, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

Vicarage Street (Part), Warminster; from its junction with Enwell Street for a distance of approximately 160m in a westerly direction.

Alternative route: via Vicarage Street (Unaffected length) – B3414 – A36 Warminster ByPass – Victoria Road – West Street and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs and access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible throughout the works period.

These works will commence on 27th February 2018 and are anticipated to be required for 1 day between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. 

This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
