(the buildings at Button’s Yard have recently
been demolished ~ making way for future
residential development – later Button’s Court).

To the right of Preston House is Furlong.

Just off the right of this photograph is
the Esso Service Station at East Street
(part of the canopy on its
forecourt can just be seen).
