Stunning Photograph By Keith Rattray

From the Facebook page of EBBRAG:

We recently came across this stunning photograph, taken by our friend and “all round good egg” Keith Rattray, taken in early August last year (2025). He has given us permission to share it. Thank you Keith.

It shows the wonderful view west from Scratchbury Hill, looking over the treetops of the deserted medieval village site of Middleton, and further over can be seen some of the fields of Bishopstrow Farm and Boreham Farm, with the railway and the military Southern Range Road weaving their ways through the scene. Copheap and Arn Hill in the distance.

We know full well that this landscape is much enjoyed on a regular basis by local people and others from farther afield. We also see people taking photos. It would be wonderful to see your photos of Boreham and Bishopstrow – whether they are views, wildlife, wild flowers, butterflies, the farmers at work, the military on manoeuvres, the hotel at Bishopstrow House, the river Wylye, even your friends and families enjoying themselves out walking, cycling, whatever! All weathers, all seasons, welcome!

Please feel free to share your photos of Boreham and Bishopstrow on the EBBRAG Facebook page for others to see and enjoy – copyright of course remains with original photographers.
