Sad news from Warminster Community Radio:
We are heartbroken to hear that our friend and fellow volunteer Tina Randall has died following a short illness.
Tina and her family were WCR listeners from the very first broadcast back in 1996. She was a regular competitor on Challenge Night. Then in 2013, Tina decided to train as a presenter and she hosted the Thursday 5pm to 7pm programme for the last 12 years. We know that listeners enjoyed her easy listening music mixed with friendly chat and her weekly book review – Tina was an avid reader.
All of us at WCR send our condolences to Tina’s husband, children and grandchildren.
Tina embodied WCR’s values. She was a friend to so many both on and off the radio. We will miss her terribly.
