A class from Horningsham School spent a fun morning visiting the Lake Pleasure Grounds, exploring the park and learning about the work of the Warminster Town Council Grounds team on Wednesday 2nd July 2025.
Adrian Rogers, Parks and Open Spaces Manager and Stuart Legg, Parks and Estate Manager explained how the Lake Pleasure Grounds operates, how the park is maintained, the facilities available as well as answering some excellent questions from the school children.
Adrian Rogers said: “We love showing people around the Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds and explaining what we do to maintain this fantastic community asset. It’s great to answer questions and see the enthusiasm from the pupils.”
Warminster Town Council recently invited local schoolchildren to plant flowers in the Lake Pleasure Grounds as the council continues to inspire the next generation to take pride in their local area.
