A gravestone in All Saints Churchyard, Chitterne (this churchyard is behind Spring Cottage, at the southern end of Townsend – the gate to the churchyard is adjacent the road leading to Chitterne Farm West) has the inscription:
In loving memory of
Alma Charlesanna Feltham,
at rest 5th April 1934 aged 78 years.
William James Feltham,
died 21st May 1949 aged 92 years.
