West Parade, Warminster, Between Factory Lane And Pound Street, To Be Temporarily Closed For Gas Mains Replacement

Temporary closure of part of West Parade, Warminster. 

Wiltshire Council. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Temporary Closure of: West Parade (Part), Warminster (Ref: TTRO 4431).

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: West Parade (Part), Warminster, from its junction with Factory Lane to its junction with Pound Street.

To enable: Wales and West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement. Alternative route: via Pound Street – Brook Street – Fore Street – Deverill Road – C360 Sambourne Road – West Parade (unaffected length) and vice versa. 

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. 

This order will come into operation on 12 September 2016 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 23 September 2016. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending on weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
