Warminster Town Council and Wiltshire Council seem intent on damming the valley below the town [Warminster] to ensure water is trapped in the town and flooding is increased to all. They are ignoring the advice to avoid flood effected areas and the requirement to provide additional flood storage when building in the floodplain to reduce the risk to others. This is not sustainable development and people need to oppose these types of reckless actions that place people at greater risk.
