There was a very pleasing moment in the courtyard of the Old Bell Hotel, Market Place, Warminster, at lunchtime on Saturday 26th September 2015, when the organisers of the Warminster 2015 Conference (held at the Old Bell on Saturday 29th August 2015) which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Warminster Thing and other ufo phenomena, gathered together again with a very large cheque to publicise that the conference had raised £1091.70 for the Help For Heroes charity. The Sun newspaper which ran a feature about Warminster and UFOs (published to coincide with the conference) made a donation of £200 to the charity.

Nikki Mulliner and Kevin Goodman. The cheque was the total proceeds from the conference and The Sun. Unfortunately, although representatives of Help For Heroes were contacted, no one was available to collect the giant cheque on Saturday.
