“Time” In A Tree In The Norton Wood Plantation, Norton Bavant

Thursday 22nd January 2015

An ivy clad tree in the south-east corner
of the Norton Wood Plantation,
Norton Bavant, where . . . .

. . . . you will find an alarm clock.

It’s a Big Ben repeater model
by Westclox
but it no longer works
and the time is stopped at 1.33.

The words “A Time” have been carved
into the narrower trunk of an
accompanying ash alongside the main trunk.

The back of the clock is very rusty.
