On Twitter, Warminster resident Adrian Shephard has just tweeted:
“Warminster needs a lawyer working pro bono to halt the stinking development at Spurt Mead.” Anyone know a lawyer who can take on this case? Are Bishopstrow Parish Meeting considering this?
Mike Perry, Chairman of Bishopstrow Parish Meeting has responded:
We tried to find such a beast but failed. We were given details of solicitors that used to do this sort of work but they now no longer offer it without a fee. It operates in stages. Stage 1 – case is prepared and examined by a barrister (£1,800). If there is a case then Stage 2 – barrister calls for a judicial review (£ thousands).
