Seller blue21972 from Aberdare currently has an antique clock made in Warminster for sale on ebay. He describes it as:
“Antique dwarf cottage longcase clock by J. Moore of Warminster. Beautiful oak cased clock with brass mounts. Good dwarf cottage case which measures approx 80″ tall, in excellent working order with a very clean movement. Strikes a large bell on the hour. Painted dial has the maker’s name J. Moore of Warminster upon it. A really nice clock which won’t disappoint you.”
As of this afternoon (Sunday 4th May 2014) there have been three bids on this clock, taking the price to £102. The auction ends at 8.34 p.m. on Wednesday 7th May 2014. Postage and packing will be £135. The seller says he packs his clocks to a very high standard and has over 10 years experience of dispatching clocks worldwide. After transit most pendulum clocks need setting up, putting in a beat, and he will help by advising over the phone or by email. He also says he has been selling and repairing antique clocks for over 15 years and aims for 5 star service.
