The area just east of Park Cottages, at Boreham Road, Warminster, where the Spurt Mead Ditch is occupied by a small stream from the River Wylye, running north to Boreham Road, before heading east to Boreham Crossroads and then back south to rejoin the River Wylye near the most northerly of the two road bridges over the River Wylye at Bishopstrow Road.
