Stapleford, in the Wylye Valley, between Warminster and Salisbury, is intending to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style:
There is the chance to dress-to-impress and be part of a crowd at the Pelican to watch the thrills of the Derby, on Saturday 2nd June 2012.
A special Service of Celebration will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Stapleford, on Sunday 3rd June 2012, at 11.00 a.m.
There will be games, a bbq, music, a bar and more, at the Recreation Ground, Stapleford, on Monday 4th June 2012, from 12 Noon to 6.00 p.m. Entrance and food is free! (To help estimate numbers for catering on Monday 4th June please collect your free tickets from the Pelican or Stapleford Garage no later than Friday 23rd May 2012.
At the Pelican you can see the Jubilee mugs that are on sale for £3.50 (free to Stapleford village children under 16 years of age on the 4th of June).
