Only the first five lines of the inscription survive:
William Willett,
of Bishopstrow,
Died 10th March 1895, aged 57.
He was for many years a faithful
servant on the Bishopstrow Estate.
The rest of William Willett’s epitaph is now missing,
the stonework having weathered and fallen off.
