The Warminster Town Centre Conservation Area Assessment (Informative Document), published in March 2007, noted:
14 West Street is a Grade II listed building and was built in the 1680s. It has been altered substantially over the years but still retains an important presence in the street. Its striking facade and elevated roofline give it grandeur over the surrounding area.
