The actress Anna Gael wed Alexander Thynne (then Viscount Weymouth and heir to Longleat) at Kensington Register Office, London, in 1969:
In an interview in You magazine, published on 2nd December 2001, Lady Bath (Anna Gael), recalling the wedding ceremony, said:
“He had two witnesses. I believe I had none or somebody I didn’t know. We had a pizza lunch and I went back to shooting a film in Zagreb. I don’t want to make it sound dull because it wasn’t. To me it was awfully romantic.”
