From the Wylye Valley Life magazine, Issue No.23, Friday 5 April 1985:
Members of Hindon Parish Council have decided to ask Mr. Robert Key, the Salisbury Conservative MP, to press for a revision of some of the proposals in the Government’s new drug laws.
Council members are concerned that people in rural areas will be effected by the limit to be made on the range of drugs that can be prescribed under the National Health Service.
Members of the Council feel that the new proposals will effect those living in scattered country communities, who are unable to get to chemist shops easily.
