Mrs. Walter, the President, welcomed a good attendance of members at the Village Hall for our 58th Annual General Meeting.
Six young new members have joined us, which is very encouraging.
We received congratulations from the County Office on our Diamond Jubilee Year. Festivities will be held later in the year.
The Annual Report showed a busy year of activities and money-raising efforts. Our finances are very sound.
Mrs. Walter, in her address, thanked everyone for their support during her year of office and consented to preside for another year. She was awarded the cup for attaining the highest points in the year’s competitions.
Our future events will include an Easter bonnet parade and egg-rolling, in aid of the Village Hall.
