A thanksgiving service for the life of Mrs. Paddy Eve was recently held at All Saints Church at Chitterne. Her brother-in-law Mr. Tony Evans read the lesson from 1 Corinthians 13 and Mr. Kenneth Carter gave the address. The Rev. Frank Dossetor, Vicar of Orcheston, officiated. Over 200 friends joined Paddy’s family in a moving service of remembrance. Mrs. Eve was a much-loved and well-known figure in the area.
