Shirley House, Bishopstrow

Bruce Watkin, in his Bishopstrow Village Trail leaflet, produced in 1984, later incorporated into the book Trails In And Around Warminster published in 1985, noted:

Shirley House is fundamentally a timber-framed house with two cross wings (north and south) enclosing a central hall, but it has been much altered and extended. It has been refaced in stone and brick and colour-washed. On its south wall are some engaging Gothic-revival windows.
