Barrow House And The Bury, Bishopstrow

Bruce Watkin, in his Bishopstrow Village Trail leaflet, produced in 1984, later incorporated into the book Trails In And Around Warminster published in 1985, noted:

Barrow House (formerly The Bury, Buries and Draytons School) is a large 3-storey red brick institutional-looking building, mostly mid-19th century, now used as offices. At the rear is The Bury, a shallow earthwork where Colt Hoare found Roman remains.
