Royal Wedding Bricks Used In The Construction Of Corner Ground, Warminster

1981:

 Corner Ground, Warminster
(the small residential estate of bungalows,
between St. George’s Close and The Dene),
was built in 1981, the year that
Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer.

 The bricks used to build Corner Ground,
which were made by the
London Brick Company,
were inscribed:
“Royal Wedding 1981”

 The bricks also featured a crown
and the initials C and D
for Charles and Diana.

 Prince Charles and Lady Diana
were wed at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London,
on Wednesday 29th July 1981.

 The Prince Of Wales Feathers
inscribed in the left end of the frog.
