The Victoria County History Of Wiltshire, Volume VIII, published in 1965, on page 133, mentions:
In 1959 the New Close Junior School was built at Woodcock by the county, but the old buildings in the Close were in 1963 still in use as part of the new school [Ex inf. Mr. H.N. Dewey].
