Edington, Wiltshire. A long and massive abbey church under the scarp of Salisbury Plain, 14th and 15th centuries. A few monuments including one by Chantrey, others of 1400 and 1630. Also a curious neo-Gothic wall tablet in white and black marble with little kneeling figures. Four miles north-east of Westbury.
