They include with regards the Jubilee bonfire that the cost of tar was 8 shillings and 6 pence and beer for the watchers was 6 shillings.
The 1897 Sports and Bonfire Committee at Bishopstrow was Messrs. Thornton, Noad, E. Coles, G. Butcher, R. Cox, Coates, Yeates and Clifford.
