A Collision At Huntley Lane, Chapmanslade

From the Warminster & West Wilts Herald, issue dated Saturday 30th November 1889:

Chapmanslade – A Collision
On Wednesday evening a collision occurred in Huntley Lane between the vehicles of Mr. Carpenter, of Corsley Mill, and Mr. Prangley, butcher of this village, resulting in Mr. Prangley’s mare receiving serious injuries, consisting of a broken rib and her lungs being pierced. Mr. F.P. Bennett, veterinary surgeon, of Warminster, was sent for and attended to the injured animal, but it is not expected she will recover.
